Children's Day & Open House  Sat Jun 09

A day for the whole family, especially children (ages 1-14) and parents where all the fun stuff of camp is packed into one Saturday from 10:00 am. to 3:00 pm. Activities include: camp hiking tour, arts & crafts, swimming (be sure to bring your swim suit and towel), lunch, campfire program, games, and lots more. The day is FREE so bring the whole family. Family Weekend  Fri Jul 20

Families stay at the Lake Luther campground and eat meals at the Lake Luther dining hall (Saturday breakfast through Sunday breakfast). Its a structured weekend program led by the Lake Luther summer staff that has nightly campfire programs, a guided morning canoe trip, arts & crafts and game times for kids, and lots of suprises. Lake Luther Chicken BBQ  Sun Jul 22

The mid-summer Sunday gathering of the "friends of Lake Luther" for worship at 10:30 am. and lunch and recreation afterward. The Lake Luther Chicken BBQ is the camp's annual fund-raiser. Come join us! Flyer

Lake Luther Fest 2012  Jul 27-29

Lake Luther Fest is a Friday evening through Sunday noon weekend program for families, middle school and high school youth groups and their adult leaders. Meals are served out of the Lake Luther kitchen. Groups and families "camp out" for the weekend at Lake Luther's comfortable campground at no cost. COME ON UP FOR THE DAY OR THE ENTIRE WEEKEND! The "big top" tent is where the weekend program happens with a full schedule of music, drama, and comedy. Maybe the best part of the weekend is that its FREE to all Lutheran families and youth groups. The only cost for the weekend are meals ($5 per meal/per person). Guitar Camp (Grades 6-9)  Jul 22-27

A week for beginning guitarists who want to learn to play their favorite camp songs, refine guitar skills, or simply want to learn playing the guitar for the first time. Along with the usual great camp activities, participants spend three hours daily in class. Luke Simpson, professional musician, will lead the program and be assisted by other guitar-playing summer staff. Participants will take home a personal copy of the LOMIK camp songbook, give a guitar concert at a local senior citizen center, and play a concert for family members prior to Friday afternoon pickup. (this same program is also offered at Lutheran Hills Jul 15-20) $295.

Pilgrims (Grades 1-3)  Jun 24-27, Jul 29-Aug 1

A great first camp experience for those entering grades 1-3. A shortened week allows four busy days of general camp activities geared towards a young age group. Enrollment is limited in order to keep living groups small and allow for extra individual attention. Activities: arts and crafts, singing, Bible study, games, swimming. $150.

Day Camp (Grades 1-6)  Jun 24-29

A Christian camp experience filled with all our great activities - only the kids come home at night. Parents arrange daily morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times to fit their schedule (normal 8:00am and 5:00pm). Campers have a full day of camp activities and make new friends as they are lead and supervised throughout the day by our trained college-aged summer staff. $150 Flyer.

Pioneers (Grades 4-6)  Jun 24-29, Jul 15-20, Jul 22-27

A lively week packed with activities for upper elementary youth entering grades 4-6: hiking, swimming, arts and crafts, Bible study, singing, campfire programs, small group and all camp games. $295. Going into 4th Grade? register online and get an additional $50 discount.

Trailblazers (Grades 7-9)  Jul 15-20, Jul 22-27

A week geared for young teens entering grades 7-9, involving more advanced activities and more individual choice than for younger campers. Activities included: Bible study, canoe/hiking trips, swimming, a cookout/campout, campfire programs, and special evening activities. $295.

Pedal-Paddle Adventure (Grades 9-12)  Jul 1-4

Join us for a canoe, bicycle, and tenting adventure around and between our 2 northern camps. The week begins at Lutherwald with 1 day biking the 25 miles to Lake Luther. We will then travel back to Lutherwald on the Pigeon River for a 2-day canoe trip including an overnight at a campground along the river. Participants will need a good multi-speed bike, a bike flag, and a helmet. This program is not designed as a serious athletic challenge. The focus is fun! $295. Flyer

Confirmation Camp (Grades 6-9)  Jun 10-15, Jun 17-22

A week that combines 2 hours of study with your pastor and confirmation class each morning, followed by a full day of great camp activitites: hiking, arts and crafts, games, music, swimming, canoeing, and campfire programs.
